Overview

Avian models are increasingly being used in Biology because they display unique features that enable researchers to address questions that cannot be approached using other animal models. This includes problematics regarding Developmental Biology, Genomics, Immunology, Evolution, Behavior, Neuroscience, Biotechnologies, etc...

The Avian Model Systems 10 conference is the 10th of a recurring series taking place every 2 years in Europe, United States and Asia. The aim of this conference is to bring together a community of scientists using aves for their particular biological questions in order to share resources, technologies but also exchange ideas and confront visions. The conference will give opportunities to present data for young researchers who are encouraged to apply.
